Broken Camera

Its been awhile since Ive been able to take a photo with my camera. Its decided to play up on me. Every photo I take comes out blurry. Its been looked at numerous times now and after a while still goes blurry. Im hoping for a new camera soon once my husbands listens to me nag a bit longer. I mainly want to wait as he is off on a month long fishing trip that he has been planning for years so he has sucked all the money. Oh well its nearly christmas. Fingers crossed.

I will apologise in advance for any photos that don't look the greatest.

I got time to play along with ACC monthly sketch. I love October Afternoon so I got to use up some of my Rocket Age papers.

Scrapping 2 Perfection

I am lucky enough to be on the design team at Scrapping 2 Perfection. Its a small forum trying to expand. I have a blast playing with the other 2 designers who happen to be my 2 best friends. There are 6 monthly challenges, swaps, speed scraps and cyber crops.

I was lucky to get the sketch challenge this month. I didn't draw a sketch this time around instead asking to scraplift my layout. I used up the last bits of my Kaiser Seaside paper which I love.

Natalie another DT member did Augusts colour challenge. A nice simple one for the month. You had to use the colours orange, yellow plus a splash of one more colour. I chose green this time around.

Amanda, the third DT member asked you to finish the challenge, JUST BECAUSE...

I chose just because ITS FUN

We would for some new member to join in and help us create a bright gallery.

Today is Love

I am back with another BIRD IS THE WORD challenge. You had to use the word TODAY in your title. I opted not to use the sketch this time around. The photo was taken on my DS 6th birthday by my bestie. We were just goofing around having fun and was lucky to get some nice family shots.

I loved loved being able to add some pink on my page. So rare to do that with only a boy around. I used some pink paislee papers and yellow alphas, pink bubblegum glimmermist, martha stewart doilies and butterfly punch, prima flowers and leaves and a touch of kaiser and doodlebug alphas.

Thank you

Even though I am new to blogging I have been blog hopping for a while and have a huge list of my favourites (soon to be added to my blog). One in particular that I love to read is HER HAND created by the talented Felicity Wilson. Not only are her layouts inspiring, she talks from a deep space in her heart. I love how she writes her thoughts so that we all feel how she feels. It takes alot of courage some days to write what she does. On a happier note I just love watching her beautiful boys through her layouts. Felicity has a way with circles on her layouts and I wanted to take some inspiration from her. Here is  what I created using 3 bugs in a rugs DAWSON.
 Thanks Felicity.

I HOPE

I hope for many things in life (one being that this is my first link post and I pray I get it right first go) but one is that my son will have a smiling face throughout life.

This month at  Bird is the Word the challenge is to use the word HOPE. With this being my first go at their challenges I decided to use the sketch (not required) made by Nadia. I used Cosmo Cricket for this challenge.

My example: I HOPE you always SMILE

Hi there to everyone kind enough to read my blog. I am a little bit excited with this new journey and also nervous. Im still working on getting the kinks out and learn all the know-how about blogging. I am a huge blog fan and love seeing all the creations that are out there.

I am hoping to be able to inspire at least one person with my scrpbooking ideas. Before I start posting about challenges I am doing I would like to share a few of my layouts that I have done over the past year.

I am trying to branch out and not only scrap my DS.

Please feel free to comment and share your tips with me. I appreciate all feedback. I look forward to my new journey with this blog and expanding my scrapbooking skills.

Kimberley xoxo
